About this topic, author mentioned so many important attributes. However, in my opinion, most essential attributes for becoming a master student are courageous, optimistic, and relaxed about grades.
First of all, challenging something are always hard, because people are afraid to make a mistake, but, if you do not challenge, nothing will change and improve. Therefore, important thing is have to keep up courages and go on trying.
Secondly, to be optimistic is also important. In university, so many students are pessimistic about study and under the pressure. So,let go of negative thinking and be optimistic is one of the key for becoming a master student.
Finally, student have to relaxed about grades. As I mentioned before, students are always scared to challenge and they are under the pressure. However, most important part to go university is to learn, Of course get a good score is very important, but that is not only reason to study in university. Therefore, student have to more relax.
A student must be limitless he creates his own boundaries. And he is the one whose in control he can go by the rules and against them and lets creativity leads the way.
Also i think he has to have some of the characteristics that the author mentioned : Ability to pay attention and focus, Energetic, Well, Self-aware, Responsible, Willing to participate, Creative, Optimistic, Positive and a leader.
Because they are important factors that can lead to the students success...
The author mentioned alot of attribute , as it mentioned the student or the person should work and plays full time and makes it look easy and relaxed.They are curious about everything. They should focus their attention. They are open to change the environment and them selves. They can organize information. They practice mathematics until they become second nature. They are seen with a smile in their face. They have an opinion and they take position.
Hi the most essential attributes are willing to accept paradox, self -directed and joyful. Because we learn more knowledge, we know more opinions.However,if we don't accept the ideas,the ideas will not work. And willing to accept paradox is more difficult than accpet the same ideas.But accepting paradox is more important to become a master student. In universities ,nobody will ask you listen carefully and do homework on time.So you need self-directed. Finally, you have a lot of homework and pressure.Sometimes you need calm down, smiling is a good idea to relax yourself.
As for me, I think the most essential attributes for becoming a master student is the inquisitive attitude.
The inquisitiveness is the motivation for a student to begin study. If a student arn't curious about what they are studying, they won't have a better studying result than those who are inquisitive. Because they are intersted in what they learned, so they can succeed after great efforts and become a master student. By posing questions, the student can have good understanding and good results.
As for me, all of the attributes cited by the author are essential for becoming a master student. Going from being inquisitive to a leader are all important features that a master student must take accountable. He should be "curious about everything"-wanting to know about all kinds of things he experiences in class and out of class. He should ask questions about things he did not understand or does not know. In other words, he should be hungry, determined,generalist, creative and energetic etc. Being courageous also makes him a master student. He takes risks and is never disappointed with his grades. He should admit being uncomfortable (being at school all the day long without eating enough...). Then he goes toward his goal, keeping positive and doing well.
I think at first he/she has to know their strengths and weaknesses in learning as well as what they like to do.
Then, they have to consider their strengths and work on things that they able to do; besides, learn the styles that it's impotent to them to help them develop their skills.
I think, if someone wants master student, he/she has to have “inquisitive and willing to change” because if they don't have any inquisitive thing, they will be very hard to study at master level.
